أعلنت اللجنة العليا لمهرجان القاهرة الدولي للمسرح التجريبي، برئاسة الدكتور سامح مهران عن فتح باب تسجيل الأعمال المشاركة في دورته الحادية والثلاثين، من اليوم 1 ديسمبر 2023، وتحدد أخر موعد لتلقي المشاركات يوم 15 مارس 2024.
وتقام الدورة 31 من مهرجان القاهرة الدولي للمسرح التجريبي في الفترة من 1 إلى 8 سبتمبر 2024، على مسارح القاهرة، تحت رعاية وزيرة الثقافة المصرية الدكتورة نيڤين الكيلاني.

مهرجان القاهرة الدولي للمسرح التجريبي هو “مهرجان تنافسي” تنظمه وزارة الثقافة سنوياً، وهو بمثابة فرصة للتواصل والحوار بين مختلف الثقافات والمجتمعات من خلال فنون الأداء، ويهدف إلى تقديم أحدث التطورات في المشهد المسرحي الدولي، ويعد أحد أقدم المهرجانات الدولية المتخصصة في إعطاء الفرصة لتقديم العروض المسرحية التجريبية من كل دول العالم، ويهدف المهرجان إلى خلق حالة من التواصل والحوار بين مختلف الشعوب والجماعات، إضافة إلى تعريف الجمهور في مصر والمنطقة العربية بأحدث التيارات في المشهد المسرحي، وإتاحة نافذة يطل منها المسرحيون حول العالم على أحدث تطورات المشهد المسرحي في مصر والبلاد العربية.
