Cairo International Festival for Experimental Theater (CIFET) -headed by Dr. Gamal Yakout- announces opening the door for participation in short theatrical performances, which will be held within the events of the twenty-ninth edition. CIFET sets specific terms and conditions for participation:

The duration of a show should be between (15 – 30) minutes. Additionally, shows must be suitable for presentation in halls; it won’t be allowed to present shows in the Italian proscenium-arch theater. It is necessary to present more than one show in the same hall, on the same day. Furthermore, it is essential to participate in the technical installations, especially lighting, along with the shows to be presented on the same day and in the same hall. Eventually, the deadline for receiving participation forms is Wednesday, August 10, 2022.

It is noteworthy that the 29th edition of CIFET is scheduled to take place between (1-8) September, 2022. CIFET -headed by Dr. Gamal Yakout- is held under the auspices of the Egyptian Minister of Culture, Dr. Ines Abdeldayem.
